New
Year Inspection at Elbox
[31
December 2005]
Some recent rumours suggest that DRAGON 1200 may not
be a real thing.
The
highest Amiga authorities decided that photos cannot
prove existence of anything material. The only exception
being screenshots--images of the monitor to which the
tested device is connected. It must be clear, as everybody
knows that ghosts have no mirror reflections. It seems
that truth can be found and the given device is not
vapourware only when the photo of the screen shows reflection
of but the tiniest part of the tested device!
To
dispel all doubts, Elbox Computer, the most creative
designer, developer and manufacturer of hardware for
Amiga computers, decided to take the decisive step.
Elbox invited two strongest authorities in credibility
of Amiga hardware to conduct personal inspection at
the Elbox facilities.
This inspection is the first of this kind in the Amiga
world!
The photograph clearly depicts these two Amiga authorities
running a highly detailed inspection of the latest Elbox
design, the DRAGON 1200 a ColdFire-based board, just
taken from the production line.
The next stage of the inspection will be mirror-testing
of DRAGON 1200 boards.
An extensive report from these tests is expected as
soon as the two authorities complete their control procedures.
Inspectors are working pursuant to the latest standard
in Amiga, that is WID (When It's Done).
